studio information

professional images are something to cherish and treasure… it is a way to “stop” time for a little while and capture that moment that will soon fade in your memories… BUT your images will be that reminder of those silly grin, missing teeth, dimpled face, “too cool for pictures”, diva, once in a lifetime moments…

that being said, let me quickly go over a little information about how i intend to capture those priceless moments…

once you look over the different types of sessions i offer in the investment section, shoot me an email and tell me what session you are interested in and what month you are hoping to get on the schedule… i do recommend you book at least 2 months in advance of the time of year you are wanting… i hate to tell people that i can’t shoot them but i do have a tight schedule because my first job is being a MOM… so at this time, i am only scheduling 2-3 sessions a week and they are typically shot on wednesday or thursday… i know all you moms understand…

you will notice in the investment section that i am now offering mini sessions during the week… i do not recommend mini sessions for families with more than three subjects… also, mini sessions do not include newborn sessions… these are great for one or two siblings, a sweet mom and me session, or a small family with older children…

you will notice that a portion of your session fee is due at time of booking… you can either mail that payment in (317 allen rd., oak grove, la 71263) or send it via paypal to kim@dreamlifephotos.com… if this deposit of the session fee is not paid within 5 days of booking, you will lose your date and time… session fee deposits are not refundable… if you have to reschedule and do so within 48 hours your fee will be transferred to the new date… if you are a no show your session fee will not be refunded… the remainder of your session fee is due at the session…

just a little TIP… the months of april, may, september, and october typically are my “peak” times so i would schedule those months at least 3-4 months in advance…

seniors, i would recommend getting on my list at least by the summer before your senior year begins…

once session fee deposit is paid, your session will be confirmed… i will then do a phone consult with you to discuss your session and ideas that i have to make sure i meet all of your expectations… seniors that purchase a full session, i will do an in-person consult if possible…

once your session is done, i will have you a professionally edited gallery online within 2-3 weeks for your viewing… i will give you your code for this gallery at your session and will email you once the gallery is live… your gallery will remain online for 15 days… during these 15 days all you need to do is pick out your favorites (20 for a full session, 15 for a mini session, 25 for a senior session) and i will do a full enhanced edit to those as well as a black and white version… then, i will put ALL the images in your gallery, including the enhanced favorites that you picked PLUS all your favorites in a low res version for uploading to facebook, on a jump drive or disc and deliver or mail them to you with a print release as well as photo lab recommendations…

oh, and one more thing, the studio is closed saturday-monday, i am probably spending time with the fam or trying to catch up on laundry… thanks for respecting my time off and please don’t be offended if you email or facebook message me during those days and i don’t get back with you asap…

if you have further questions, please shoot me an email at kim@dreamlifephotos.com…
